It is held on May 5 in Takaoka city, Toyama prefecture.
You will see seven beautiful floats, Mikurumayama.

What is Mikurumayama?
Mikurumayama is a procession we can see at a special festival of Imizu Shrine in Takaoka.
We have seven beautiful floats. They were made about 390 years ago.
Each float was decorated with elaborate traditional art.
We treat them as our treasure and appreciate the high quality of our traditional industrial art.
The top is decorated by a lot of artificial flowers and you will see some dolls which move as if they were kind of robots.
They have very old wooden wheels and they are very big and very heavy.
We need more than thirty men to pull the float.
History
Mikurumayama started about 390 years ago.
A Japanese general did various things to develop Takaoka-city.
Part of it is "Mikurumayama". When the old Japanese general built a castle,
the old Japanese general gave it to the town's people. And it has been followed by town's people in accordance with the development of Takaoka.
